about

An engineer, a hippie, and a bird breeder climbed through a tunnel in search of eternal life… but got lost and ended up in Marie instead of John Malkovich.  She has many passions and only one measly little life; she couldn't wait to get started and was C-sectioned out a month early.  By the time she graduated from high school, she'd worked in a library for a number of years in the Literacy and Children's departments, taught basic computer use, offered an origami class to over 60 students of all ages, tutored Spanish, spoken to city council in support of health education programs for youth, taken courses at UC Berkeley, and was working on her third and fourth languages.

She then took over 250 units in engineering, anthro-linguistics, philosophy, various languages, etc. at the University of California, Davis without a summer off.  She took some graduate courses, worked in the computer security lab, and was seen hanging out with engineers, hippies, philosophers, mathematicians, biologists, dancers, Democrats, Greens, Libertarians, Republicans, the apathetic, Christians, Buddhists, Catholics, Jews, Muslims, Discordians, agnostics, atheists, unitarian universalists, pagans, punks, goths, gays, bisexuals, straights, monogamists, polyamorists, and various combinations of the above and then some.

Later, she built some websites, taught high school physics and astronomy, and continued working on becoming an awesomer person. She won a photo contest once or twice with a small cash prize, and some of her photography can be seen on flickr.  She somehow got a reputation for being a good cook and her soy milk is delicious.

She likes collecting random skills and you should let her in and keep her alive should there ever be a zombie outbreak.

Her resume can be found here, subject to change.  Feel free to drop her a line if you have any suggestions for edits or want to offer a job :)
